The Nepal Cabinet had decided to hold elections for federal parliament and provincial assemblies in two phases , which are November 26 and December 7, 2017.

As per the constitutional provision, the Nepalese Parliament will have 275 members. Therefore, voters will directly vote for 165 lawmakers, and 110 members of Parliament will be nominated through proportional representatives.
